This position supports the Academic Support staff of World Campus as they implement learning resources and services for students studying online. The graduate assistant will assist in the coordination and administration of various learning and intervention programs such as Math Essentials and Study Skills. The position will assist with research that supports new programming at the discretion of the Assistant Director for Academic Support. The graduate assistant will also update and attend unit meetings and could serve as a facilitator for preparatory courses. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to build rapport and collaborate with World Campus staff, faculty, and college partners. Preferred experience includes: Knowledge of student information systems such as CANVAS, Starfish, LionPath, and Office 365; Desire to work with online learners and/or adult student populations; Ability to collect and analyze data; General knowledge of College Algebra; Strong communication and organizational skills. The position is a 2-year appointment and requires a minimum of 20 hours a week. The position also includes a waiver of tuition and monthly stipend. Candidates must be enrolled full-time in a graduate program, preferably a relevant program within the College of Education.
