Penn State Scranton invites applications for faculty position, Assistant Professor of Project and Supply Chain Management (tenure-track, 36 weeks) to begin August 2019. Teach three courses (9 credits) each semester of lower- and upper-division undergraduate courses in the newly developed Project and Supply Chain Management (PSCM) Baccalaureate degree program. Teaching assignments will require traditional, hybrid and online delivery methods. Course assignments involve teaching day, evening and/or Saturday classes as needed. Present and publish research at the appropriate conferences and in refereed journals. Participate in professional organizations and in course, curriculum, and program development. Advise students and provide career guidance. Participate in campus, university, and community service activities. This position will be responsible for both research and teaching in the field of Project and Supply Chain Management. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in Management Operations or related discipline (i.e., Information Systems, Logistics, Operations and Sourcing Management, Supply Chain), no later than at the time of appointment.
