The Communications, Information and Navigation Office (CINO) at the Applied Research Laboratory is looking for a student intern to join our Research and Technology Innovation Center (RITC) located in Reston, VA. The RTIC injects applied research and technology innovations into every aspect of CINO’s mission from creative IR&D projects to knowledge acquisition. The successful candidate will support project planning and organization while keeping projects consistent with regulations, policies, and procedures necessary to perform assigned managerial/supervisory tasks. Typical duties will include: coordination of internal resources and third parties/vendors; assist in the definition of project scope and objectives and current status; ensure resource availability and allocation; assist in the development of detailed project plans to monitor and track progress; and measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. The successful candidate will work up to 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters and 40 hours per week over the summer. Candidate selected may be subject to a government security investigation. You must be a U.S. citizen to apply. Employment with the Applied Research Laboratory will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
