Support the Donor Relations and Special Events team who steward all University donors with special attention given to the University’s highest-level donors. Duties include data entry and working with databases, creating event registration websites, tracking event responses and creating event response reports as well as post event attendance reports. Preparation of materials for events. Attending and assisting onsite with events. Composing, editing and merging of, reports, lists, correspondence and invitations. Processing various internal requests and forms, submitting work orders and transportation requests. Scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, and providing general office support. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Cvent or an on-line registration tool, Advance, Lotus Notes and Business Information Systems (IBIS) Mainframe System, or IBIS/Simba is helpful. Essential requirements: excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, attention to detail, a team player, a self-motivator who take initiative and has the ability to multitask; coordinating several projects simultaneously while prioritizing appropriately. Strong communication and telephone skills are a must. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high stress environment. Requires strong proficiency with MS Office 2010 suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and Access. The successful candidate must possess exemplary interpersonal skills and demonstrate a genuine appreciation in working with diverse audiences. Job will include some evenings and weekends.
