Description

The Enterprise Operations Office at the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State University is seeking an Enterprise System Integration Analyst to join our Enterprise Applications Department to configure, implement, integrate and support administrative COTS packages. Responsibilities include: Develop an in-depth understanding of product functionality in order to provide solutions for customer needs; participate in product selection activities; assess customer requirements; and translate into specialized designs to create functional solutions and workflows within a given product; perform fit-gap analysis between the functional requirement needs of the customer and the specialized capabilities of the application; perform any necessary system customizations and integrations with other software platforms and environments; assist customers with application testing; participate in rollout activities; provide manager application user roles/access; provide tier two operational support; and prepare system documentation. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Oracle EBS v11and Discoverer; Oracle DBMS v11; Oracle Application administration; Solaris OS version 10 and higher; Solaris Zone technology; Linux operating environments (Red Hat 7.x and CentOS 6.x); Atlassian tool suite; and Docfinity. Security+ certification is a plus. Experience requirements include programming/scripting with web technologies and implementation of enterprise business and/or operations software applications. Candidate must possess strong verbal and written communications skills, strong interpersonal skills, and be able to work collaboratively within a group, as well as across departments.
