The Pennsylvania State University, Berks College, invites applications for a full-time (FT-1) Open-Rank (Lecturer/Assistant Teaching Professor/Associate Teaching Professor) Faculty member in Mathematics beginning fall 2019. Candidates must have an M.S. or M.A. in a Mathematics or Statistics field to be considered for the rank of Lecturer or a Doctorate in a Mathematics or Statistics field to be considered for either the Assistant Teaching Professor or the Associate Teaching Professor rank. The successful candidate`s degree and experience will determine final rank of the position. A demonstrated interest and commitment to undergraduate teaching is essential for this position. The candidate will be expected to teach courses in basic Algebra, Trigonometry, and Statistics; the teaching load is 24 credits for the academic year. The contract is renewable for one-year terms based upon performance evaluations and institutional needs. Candidates invited to Penn State Berks for an interview will be expected to conduct a classroom presentation.
