Description

Assist a variety of Department of Psychiatry PIs with research projects. Duties may include: recruit and schedule subjects/participants for visits; coordinate with clinicians and staff to facilitate recruitment; maintain subject/participant database, order/organize lab materials; conduct data collection, monitor incoming data for accuracy; troubleshoot for technical problems/maintain protocol integrity; monitor safety and confidentiality of project and subjects/participants; assist PIs with Institutional Review Board submissions, amendments, continuations, and renewals as well as assist with abstract, poster and publication submissions; code and score observational data; ensure data is scored and entered correctly and reconciled per PI guidelines; maintain lab equipment; data analysis. Perform actigraphy, electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG), functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIR) using eye tracking software; conduct structured participant interviews, administer and score assessments/rating scales, and generate summary for clinicians’ use in diagnostic interviews. Own transportation required to travel to affiliated research and clinical sites. Work hours typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.- This job will be filled as a level 1, or level 2, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 1. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Bachelor’s degree in psychology or other related field and SPSS, MATLAB, REDCap, MINI interview and phlebotomy knowledge/experience preferred. This is a fixed-term appointment funded one year from date of hire with possibility of re-funding.
