Description

The Division of Science and Engineering, Penn State University Abington College located in Abington, PA, is seeking a nine-month, full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Computer Science to start in August of 2019. Minimum qualifications include: a Ph.D. in Computer Science earned no later than time of appointment; a minimum of one year of related University teaching experience; a minimum of three years of related industry experience; and research experience in the area of software development and testing. The successful candidate will be expected to teach and advise undergraduate Computer Science majors and a variety of Engineering majors; be actively involved in campus service; and develop a robust research program involving undergraduate students.
