Description

The Supply Chain and Information Systems (SC&IS) Department is searching for a professional individual to serve as Administrative Support Assistant in our busy, high performance office. The successful candidate will be part of a team that supports the overall department’s administrative functions. Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining multiple department budgets including posting and reconciliation; tracking and analyzing expenditures, preparing budget reports and projections; processing and reviewing multiple financial and human resource documents; hiring and processing wage payroll for work-study positions, teaching assistants and proctors; processing travel reimbursements for faculty and visitors using the ERS system; reconciling department purchasing card charges. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: responding to routine and moderately complex questions/issues from faculty and students concerning policies, processes and procedures; assisting with the coordination of special events, seminars and activities including arrangements for facilities, supplies, classrooms, conference rooms, and food service; assisting with student course scheduling and course enrollment management via LionPATH; maintaining equipment and placing orders as needed. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities, to work independently and to work in a team environment. Extensive experience with eDDS, IBIS, LionPATH, iTwo and ERS is preferred. Proficiency with LionPATH, MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint is highly desired. Previous experience in an academic unit is preferred.
