Description

This position will serve in a dual capacity as both the Assistant Women's Soccer Coach and the Coordinator of Game Management for winter and spring season sports. As the Assistant Coach, this role is responsible for the recruitment and training of the women's soccer team, helps with mentoring student-athletes; assists in preparing and presenting scouting materials; assists with film exchange; assists in practice planning and skill development; and assists with team travel. As the Coordinator of Game Management, this position will supervise the setup and tear down of facilities; meet and greet officials and visiting teams to ensure competitions start on time; and ensure overall operations for the games run smoothly. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with possibility of re-funding. This is a 91.7% full-time equivalency (FTE) job. Will work 11 months per year with the month of June off. Full Penn State benefits included.
