Description

Penn State Abington’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is seeking Peer Tutors in the areas of Mathematics for the Comprehensive Studies Program. Individuals must be current Penn State Abington students who have an A in the Math course they have completed and wish to tutor. Qualifications include attendance at Abington for at least two semesters, demonstration of interest in helping entering students adjust to college expectations, and excellence in communication and interpersonal skills. The tutor will be expected to assist students in one-on-one and small group settings. This is a part-time position for the 2019-2020 academic year, two to four days per week for a maximum of 20 hours per week. A recommendation from the instructor must be submitted with application.
