As part of that mission, the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) is seeking an innovative and versatile marketing professional to lead communications for the LionPATH Development and Maintenance Office (LDMO) and assist with communications efforts for other enterprise-level projects. This position is required to have strong writing, editing, and social media skills in order to create and manage content strategy across traditional and digital media, including project websites, blogs, social media, articles, press releases, e-mail listservs, and system-wide communications campaigns. Change management familiarity and experience, as well as experience working in an environment with software development and deployment, is strongly desired. Graphic design ability is a plus. The successful candidate is a self-starter who can work independently with little supervision, but also as part of a team. This role will impact a variety of audiences across the University, including project sponsors, executive stakeholders, staff, faculty, and students. The position reports to the EPMO communications manager, and works closely with LDMO team members, sponsors, and stakeholders throughout Penn State. This job will be filled as a level 2, or level 3, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 2. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Applicants should submit up to three writing samples in addition to a resume and cover letter. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
