Seeking up to 10 part-time employees with training in a medical/healthcare field to assist the sleep research team with a 5-year NIH-funded longitudinal research project following up the sleep, cardiometabolic and neurocognitive health of 700 young adults approx. 18-30 years old. Duties will include conducting data collection using structured clinical interviewing; obtain medical history, perform physical exam & measure vital signs, including blood pressure, anthropometric measures etc. Other duties may include: collect biological samples (blood, saliva, urine); sleep EEG hook ups; ensure data is collected accurately and entered correctly and reconciled per PI guidelines. Work hours: Varied, Sunday - Saturday, approx. 7pm – 9pm (primary duties) or 7am – 9am (other duties) (approx. 4 hours/week). Wage payroll: $20.00/hour. Licensed practical nurses, medical students, physician assistant students, and nursing students are encouraged to apply but position is not restricted to those with these backgrounds. Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare field preferred but not mandatory. Own transportation required to travel to affiliated research sites.
