The Professional Personnel Development Center for Career and Technical Education (CTE) seeks qualified individuals to teach 3-credit courses that prepare individuals to qualify for the Pennsylvania “Vocational Instructional II” certificate. Each selected individual will teach a course, delivered in an online format via the Canvas learning management system. The successful candidate will: Possess advanced degree(s) in Workforce Education, Career and Technical Education, Vocational Education or closely related fields; possess a Pennsylvania Vocational Instructional II Certificate or equivalent; have taught or been a school counselor or an administrator in career and technology center; have knowledge and skills suited to teach one of the following subjects: Cultural diversity in the workplace (Fall 2019 and/or Spring 2020 semesters), transition for special populations in career and technical education (Spring 2020 semester). Applicants must complete the application and submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a list of three professional references (including the names, titles, e-mail addresses, and phone numbers).
