For the academic year 2019-2020, the Eberly Family Special Library seeks a full-time graduate student studying and researching in the areas of history and/or education to serve as the Candace and Patrick E. Malloy Graduate Assistant. Duties include: Collaborating with the Head of Research Service and Research Services Team to staff the Eberly Family Special Collections Library’s reference desk, and providing reference services for collections found in the Special Collections Library. Partnering with the Instruction and Outreach Archivist and the Instruction and Outreach Team to assist with outreach, exhibitions, and course-related instruction relating to University Archives, Special Collections, archival literacy, and primary source literacy. Participating in collection maintenance and preservation projects as directed by the Head of Collections Management and the Collections Management Team. Work will be performed under the direction of the Instruction and Outreach Archivist. The candidate will work a total of 20 hours per week for each semester, including assigned reference hours on the reference desk in the Special Collections Library, 104 Paterno Library.
