The School of Visual Arts at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a Visiting Artist to begin August 1, 2019. This is a two-year (non-tenure track) position. The successful candidate will teach at least one undergraduate course per semester, propose and conduct a project, engage in art initiatives within one or more of the studio areas in the school (Ceramics, Drawing & Painting, Foundations, Photography, Sculpture, Digital Art and Media Design/New Media/Interdisciplinary Digital Studio), and integrate themselves within the culture of the School of Visual Arts. The successful candidate should have a strong background in a specific area of studio art, a demonstrated record of collaborations and exhibitions. The successful candidate will be expected to interact and collaborate with the faculty members and students (undergraduate and graduate) in the School of Visual Arts. Candidates must possess at least a master`s degree or its equivalent.
