Description

The College of Agricultural Sciences, Penn State Extension - Cambria County seeks to hire a 4-H Program Assistant to plan, implement and evaluate 4-H events, fairs and projects with youth at after-school/out-of-school programs as well as various day camps and overnight camp. In addition, the Assistant will provide support at traditional 4-H events by recording registration, chaperoning, conducting workshops and other tasks as assigned. Experience in education, social sciences, agriculture or related field is beneficial. Previous experience with the 4-H Youth Development Program is preferred. This wage-payroll position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver`s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks. This position is anticipated to work 24 hours per week with increased hours during peak busy times.
