Penn State DuBois is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and hardworking professional to join the recruitment and admissions team in the Admissions Office. The primary responsibility of this position will be to recruit the most qualified and diverse class to Penn State DuBois while providing a superior admissions experience for students and families. The Enrollment Services Specialist at Penn State DuBois will work in undergraduate admissions and represent both the campus and the University at recruitment events throughout the year, traveling extensively to high schools, college fairs, and other off-campus events. They will provide in-take services, responding to general requests from individual applicants, parents, families and counselors. In addition, they will assist in the creation, design, coordination and delivery of presentations at recruitment and/or student aid events for prospective students on behalf of the campus and the University. They will be an integral piece of evaluating and analyzing the credentials to determine eligibility for admission. Additional duties include preparing and presenting reports and analyses of enrollment data and trends and designing and implementing programs designed to recruit students to the Penn State DuBois campus. Some evening and weekend work is required during peak times in the enrollment and recruitment cycle. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience in college admission is a plus. Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and organization skills with the ability to manage concurrent projects is critical. Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks. About Penn State DuBois: Penn State DuBois, one of more than 20 Penn State campuses state-wide, is situated in north central Pennsylvania about 70 miles west of State College/University Park and 100 miles northeast of Pittsburgh. It is a commuter campus comprised of approximately 600 students. The student-centered faculty and staff are dedicated to excellence in teaching and learning. Class sizes are small, and the student/faculty ratio is low, so students can receive much individual attention. Since opening its doors in 1935, thousands of degree-seeking individuals have received a world-class education delivered in a friendly, small campus setting. The campus offers 6 Baccalaureate degrees, 8 Associate degrees, and the first 2 years of over 160 Penn State undergraduate degree programs.
