The Administrative Data Accelerator (http://www.accelerator.psu.edu/) at The Pennsylvania State University, University Park, is seeking applications for a non-tenure track Assistant Research Professor to join our team. The mission of the Data Accelerator is to acquire, link, and analyze complex and diverse datasets from varying disciplines to generate research that informs policy. The Assistant Research Professor will be responsible for, and have expertise in statistical analysis, data processing, and linking large longitudinal administrative datasets via deterministic and probabilistic matching. The Assistant Research Professor will collaborate with substantive experts across various areas of study for research projects and publication. Minimum requirements include a completed Ph.D. degree at the time of hire in Sociology, Psychology, Human Development, or Public Health, advanced statistical knowledge and programming skills (STATA, Python), at least 2 years of research experience working with child welfare and criminal justice administrative data, and an interest in and capacity to conduct publishable research.
