If any of this sounds like you, then you might just be the Quality Assurance Analyst we’re looking for. Outreach Information Technology (OIT) is currently looking for a customer focused Quality Assurance Analyst who will be responsible for the creation and improvement of quality assurance deliverables, methodologies, and processes for testing. This position will be responsible for performing testing and validation of IT systems, services, applications, data, customizations, and integrations. The successful candidate will ensure the quality, reliability, integrity, and performance of all software products for end user consumption by validating that software performs to established guidelines. The successful candidate will take ownership for developing, documenting, training and enforcement of the testing strategy including but not limited to all processes and procedures. This position will be responsible for understanding and recommending appropriate functional, integration, and performance testing methodologies. Activities may include creating, executing, and managing effective test cases, scenarios, and plans based on business requirements, user stories, and project needs. Outreach IT values customer service focused candidates with excellent written and oral communication, listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate should communicate ideas in both specialized and audience appropriate language, be able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, possess keen attention to detail, think outside of the box, and challenge the status quo. This position will be filled as a level 3. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with experience in project-based work is critical. We seek candidates who can demonstrate experience and the ability to advance Outreach’s diversity initiative. The successful candidate will possess the following essential skills and/or experience with: ad hoc querying, automated testing tools, reporting software, data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
