Description

The Edna Bennett Prevention Research Center is seeking a Research Assistant to help coordinate the Recipe 4 Success project. The R4S project aims to test the effectiveness of an obesity prevention program with Early Head Start families. This position will provide logistical support for the multi-site study, including data entry coordination, data cleaning and data management for several waves of data collection. A successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree; previous research experience; be extremely detail-oriented, proactive and organized; and demonstrate the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, staff and external partners. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, but not required. Recent graduates (including May 2019) with interests in child development, nutrition, and prevention science are encouraged to apply. Must be willing to commit to at least 1 year. The work schedule will be approximately 24 hours per week, during business hours. Expected start date is April or May 2019.
