Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) is seeking an experienced programmer to help in the creation of high impact immersive experience technology applications. As part of a growing team developing virtual reality educational applications, this candidate will be at the forefront of shaping the future of education. The successful candidate will be working on a range of efforts, from prototyping new ideas, to creating complete immersive experience for classroom use. This job will be filled as a level 2 or level 3, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 2. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Candidates should be familiar with C based languages and have the ability to learn new programming languages. The successful candidate must be an eager learner, comfortable adapting to a constantly shifting technological landscape where experimentation is an essential ingredient to success. Comfort working as an individual and as a part of a larger team is necessary. The successful candidate will be a motivated contributor, excited to bring their development experience to projects that often involve out of the box thinking.
