Description

The Business Services Department of the Applied Research Laboratory is seeking undergraduate students to provide assistance to the Purchasing Office. The successful candidate will assist ARL Purchasing Agents with various activities, including: Request For Quotations (RFQs); preparing summary of quotations received; obtaining various vendor certification forms; entering requisitions into an Oracle financial system; resolving discrepancies; investigating problems; and other activities as directed. All activities must be in accordance with and in compliance with University policies/procedures and government purchasing regulations. Students studying Business, Management, and Accounting are encouraged to apply. We are looking for someone will be a conscientious, dedicated, and motivated team player with excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills. To be considered, please submit a resume and a cover letter. This position will be at one of our off-campus locations. The successful candidate will work up to 20 hours/week during the fall and spring semesters and 40 hours/week over the summer. Candidate selected may be subject to a government security investigation. You must be a U.S. citizen to apply.
