Description

The Risk Management Department within the Smeal College of Business seeks a Teaching Assistant (TA) to support RM 303 (Real Estate Fundamentals) and RM 330W (Real Estate Risk Analysis) for the 2019/2020 academic year. Applicants must have previously been completed one of these courses and received a grade of a B+ or better. The course load will consist of 3 sections in the fall and 3 sections in the spring. The expectation of the TA is to attend at least one class a day, hold 2 hours of office hours per week, and be available via email when students have questions around the course. Additional tasks may include assistance in grading, proctoring exams, or providing students with additional help on given topics, just to name a few. The TA would be expected to work no more than 10 hours per week. Applicants interested should upload their resume, cover letter, and fall schedule. Applicant review will beginning May 1, 2019.
