Description

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering invites applications for one or more non tenure-track Lecturer positions for the 2019-20 Academic Year. Duties will include undergraduate teaching, committee duties, and helping to assess learning outcomes in courses. Candidates should be available for either on-line or classroom teaching assignments. Required areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, Operating Systems, Systems Programming (Unix), Compilers, and C Programming. Candidates must have at least a Master’s of Science degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. Preference may be given to candidates who hold a Ph.D. degree or have previously taught Computer Science classes. Applicants should upload a cover letter of application establishing their qualifications and including concise statements of teaching experience and interests; a current curriculum vita; and three letters of reference. These positions are for at least one year and are benefits-eligible.
