The Human Development and Family Studies department seeks a Human Research Technologist 1 position to conduct home visits and data collection for a research project that is examining the impact of a co-parenting intervention on co-parenting quality, parent and infant sleep, and parent-infant relations. This Penn State research project is based in the Hershey/Harrisburg, PA region and thus residence in this region and surrounding areas is preferred. This study is funded by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and families from diverse backgrounds and some basic experience working with technology and digital video recording. Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills are highly preferred for this position. Attention to detail is required. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
