Join the dynamic customer service oriented team of the 4-Diamond rated Nittany Lion Inn, one of two premier properties owned and operated by The Pennsylvania State University under the Penn State Hospitality Services (PSHS) umbrella in beautiful central Pennsylvania. The selected candidate is responsible for the supervision and management of the hotel's Front Office team including; guest service agents, bell staff, valet parking, van shuttle service and night audit. Oversee the front desk and night audit cash handling; coordinate accounts receivable with business office; process payroll edits as required. Develop and promote good public relations; respond to customer service needs and requests in a timely fashion. Provide training and development opportunities to assigned staff; conduct communication and training meetings as needed. Maintain key security systems related to front desk operations. Manage guest room inventories for all Penn State special event weekends as directed. Prepare annual budgets and project budget requests for front desk operations. Provide input and direction for the improved use of technology in all areas of responsibility. Strong support of diversity, inclusion and equity within the workplace required.
