Penn State College of Medicine is seeking an experienced administrative assistant for the Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. This position will provide administrative support for the Associate Dean for Diversity/Inclusion/Chief Diversity Officer, and the administrative support for Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion functions, for both Penn State College of Medicine and Penn State Health including phone coverage, processing routine business expenses, providing calendar support/coordination of meetings for office staff, with both internal and external collaborators (including reserving conference rooms, ZOOM links, conference bridges and ordering catering as needed). Coordinates travel arrangements, including hotel reservations/conference registration for staff & students as needed. The position will also provide logistical support for our organization’s high school and undergraduate diversity pipeline programs, including coordinating logistics with schools and universities, partnering with administrative staff of Penn State Health departments, and maintaining data base for pipeline programs. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
