Description

The Department of English at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for one or more full-time Post-Doctoral Teaching Fellow positions (non-tenure-track) to begin in Fall 2019. These are one-year fixed-term appointments and may be renewed for a second year. Responsibilities primarily include teaching introductory undergraduate courses in English and the Program of Writing and Rhetoric. Course load will be two courses per semester. All requirements for the Ph.D., including defending the dissertation, must be completed by the appointment date of Fellow. Those who have successfully defended by July 31, 2019 will be appointed to the rank of Lecturer. Preference will be given to recent graduates of the Ph.D. program in the Department of English at The Pennsylvania State University. Applications must include a cover letter and curriculum vitae (with the names and contact information of two references). Review of applications will begin May 1, 2019 and continue until the positions are filled.
