Description

This is a part-time position working approximately 20-25 hours per week in the School of Business Administration. Responsibilities include but are not limited to creating and strengthening networks with local organizations, business school and MBA program alumni, and partner universities and colleges; meeting with decision makers in local organizations to determine graduate educational needs; communicating MBA program standards and expectations to external constituents; traveling to regional recruiting events and organizations serving as the MBA program’s representative; recommending and participating in events to recruit students; tracking and managing data associated with recruiting events. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, but the preferred candidate will hold an MBA. Additional experience includes strong relationship building and business development experience (existing network in the central Pennsylvania area preferred); knowledge of business educational needs, MBA programs and higher education industry/processes; prior higher education and/or corporate recruiting experience; ability to work independently and efficiently; strong time management and organization skills; exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in higher education and/or sales preferred. Must be able to work some evenings and have flexible weekday schedules as travel is required. Must possess a valid driver`s license and maintain a safe driving record. Motor vehicle report (MVR) required. Must successfully pass a Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal Background Check as well as corresponding clearances from the successful candidate`s state of residence, if not Pennsylvania.
