Internships in the Office of Student Activities are designed to provide both undergraduate and graduate students with hands on learning experiences that will help them develop valuable and transferable skills. Interns will work on a variety of projects designed to foster a new appreciation and understanding of the multitude of resources available to students at University Park. The Photo/Video Intern will: Shoot videos and take photos of student activities events and staff, edit photo files for use in social media, publications, and on the Student Activities website and social media, handling post production on footage to create high quality videos, generating marketing ideas targeting students and supporting related activities. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially photo and video editing software and be curious about activities related service leadership, student organizations and activities. Willingness to learn and comply with standards as set forth by the Americans with Disabilities Act. This is a 10 hour/week position for one academic year with the possibility of continuing for additional semesters. Successful candidates will be required to go through a background check process.
