Description

The Pennsylvania State University seeks a qualified professional with vendor management and Procure-to-Pay experience to assist with the implementation and deployment of SAP S/4HANA. Primary responsibilities will be: Review requirements and functional specifications; perform hands on configuration of the primary modules including SLC and SRM; conduct system testing and prepare documentation; assist the Procurement Team Lead with all facets of the Procure-to-Pay implementation efforts. Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Data consolidation and data analysis; perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis; assist with organizational change management and end user training. This job will be filled as a level 2, or level 3, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 2. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Experience with relevant SAP solutions is preferred. The preferred candidate will possess broad knowledge of procurement, sourcing, vendor onboarding and vendor relationship management; subject matter expertise in Procure-to-Pay business processes and supply chain best practices; hands on experience with SAP solutions including SRM and/or SLC. Strong understanding of cross functional integration and architecture with ECC, S/4HANA, SRM, and/or SLC is preferred. Proactive approach to problem solving, outstanding time management skills, attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to execute in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance are required. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing is required. Ability to deal with high levels of complexity and recognize impacts of design and system changes is preferred. You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply.
