Description

Housing and Food Services has student positions available in our housing maintenance operation. Working for Housing and Food Services at Behrend offers competitive wages, flexible scheduling, convenient locations, and a welcoming environment to enhance your work experience. Typical duties will include but not be limited to change light bulbs, perform minor maintenance, assist full time maintenance staff, complete monthly visual inspections, and receive, move, sort, store and deliver equipment, furnishings and operational supplies. Wages start at $9.50 per hour, with opportunities for tenure base and merit increases. Employee meal discount during working hours. This position may work up to 40 Hours per week. Typical schedules are Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., but days and hours may vary based on operational needs, possibly including weekend and evening hours. Successful candidates must be full time students through the end of the spring 2019 semester as well as during the fall 2019 semester.
