The Clearinghouse for Military Family Readiness at Penn State is seeking a talented and energetic Graphic Designer to assist with a variety of projects. Primary duties include assisting the team with planning and developing storyboards, brochures, and educational materials. Candidates must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have an education and/or background in producing visually-compelling and audience-appropriate graphic products. Candidates should be proficient in the use of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator and demonstrate their ability to illustrate thoughts and ideas in a creative and thoughtful manner. An eagerness to work with storyboarding, Adobe After Effects, and designing for web and print are highly desired. The successful candidate will be able to meet tight deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and communicate effectively. This job typically requires an Associate’s degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate must be excited about the opportunity to work with professionals who assist the United States military in developing leading-edge products. This is a part-time opening with the expectation of being scheduled 20-24 hours/week. Remote candidates will be considered for this position.
