Description

Penn State PRO Wellness is seeking a qualified candidate as a Human Research Technologist for intervention programs focused on child and family wellness. This position is responsible for assisting with the development, implementation, and evaluation of grant projects. Programs take place in school and community settings. The candidate would be responsible for working with participants in schools and community groups using various methods including in person visits. Duties include: scheduling, coordinating, and conducting conference calls, meetings and training sessions; developing, designing and coordinating project materials;; assisting with interim and final reports; serving as a liaison to internal departments and external entities; preparing and maintaining project documentation and expenditures; preparing grants and HSPO documentation; assisting with writing scientific papers for publications; and entering and analyzing data. Qualified candidates will be detail oriented, produce high quality work, communicate clearly and accurately, both verbally and in writing, demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills, and participate in and support team decisions and team responsibilities. Job involves occasional travel and overnight stays. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
