Description

The Department of Internal Medicine is seeking an Education Program Associate who will manage the daily logistics of operating teleECHO Sessions for the newly created Penn State Project ECHO. This position will assist in maintaining effective relationships with internal and external faculty and primary care providers, and will coordinate all teleECHO sessions; which includes sending out teleECHO reminders, tracking attendance, maintaining a contact management system, helping to arrange CME, recruiting cases for presentation, coordinating didactic presentation speakers, offering insight on cohort curriculum, and directing and generally supporting the daily operations of teleECHO sessions. More specifically, this position will be responsible for leading the administration of a portfolio of educational TeleECHO cohorts and topic areas. This position requires a strategic thinker who understands the intricacies and nuances of higher education and health systems and who has the ability to collaborate, build relationships, and manage programs and expectations across diverse audiences. In addition, this position requires a high level of customer service in order to offer frontline troubleshooting and technical assistance to Project ECHO participants, and serve as the facilitator for each teleECHO session. This position will help maintain an open line of communication and follow up with specialists interested in launching an ECHO specialty. This position requires a working knowledge of research grants, budgets, Microsoft Office, Zoom, and REDCap. In addition, the candidate should be detail oriented, communicate clearly and accurately, both verbally and in writing, demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills, and participate in, and support, team decisions and team responsibilities Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is a fixed term appointment funded one year from date of hire with the possibility of refunding
