Description

The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our nationally recognized program. The primary focus for this position will be youth program compliance and the successful candidate will assist in the development and implementation of programs and procedures to facilitate compliance with all required procedures, policies, regulations, and laws. Responsibilities include overseeing compliance with state and federal mandated program requirements; ensuring accurate monitoring and management of training records and statutorily required background clearances; collecting, organizing, and reviewing documentation related to individual, group, and institutional compliance requirements; and assisting in the development and/or update of policies and procedures related to compliance. Schedule could include occasional night and weekend efforts and travel to other Commonwealth Campuses may be required. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Individuals with a background in the field of children and youth protection is preferred. Experience using computerized databases and standard office support software, such as Office 365 tools, is required.
