Penn State Global Programs is seeking applications for a part-time attorney to join our International Agreements and Global Collaborations office. The person in this position will review proposed international agreements between Penn State and potential international partners for adherence to Penn State policies and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The incumbent will coordinate between internal and external partners to ensure all stakeholders are in agreement with collaboration documentation. The incumbent will utilize document management software to record and track activities involving individual agreements. The incumbent will review existing agreements subject to renewal. The incumbent will monitor processing times for agreements and provide reports on documentation related statistics. The candidate for this position must be creative, curious and self-motivated with an ability to anticipate issues and follow-up independently. Position requires excellent judgment, including sensitivity to client needs, cultural nuances and will work with confidential information. Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently. We seek a candidate who can successfully interact with senior faculty, University leadership, and our international partners. Requires a J.D. or L.L.B. from an ABA-accredited law school or higher. This is a part-time position expected to last up to four months. The office is located at University Park in State College, Pennsylvania.
