Description

The Center for NMR Research (CNMRR) in the Department of Radiology at Penn State College of Medicine invites applications for a postdoctoral position. The research projects will involve the development of MRI techniques, olfactory functional MRI (fMRI) and other fMRI applications. A PhD in cognitive neuroscience, physics, computer science, applied mathematics or engineering is required. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in human neuroimaging techniques such as fMRI and EEG. However, candidates with other backgrounds, and an interest in establishing a new career in human brain imaging are encouraged to apply. There will be other opportunities for the postdoctoral fellow to collaborate and pursue one’s own program of research. The position will also provide opportunities for diverse research experiences in a highly collegial environment at both the College of Medicine campus at Hershey and the University Park campus. The successful candidate will join a growing laboratory fostering cross-disciplinary collaborative research throughout the University.
