Description

This position is to provide consultation and assistance to students to meet the Universal Health Insurance requirement. Responsibilities include identifying insurance options for students and supporting qualified students in applying for medical assistance; developing educational materials and conducting sessions with student and university groups; being a resource for the insurance requirement implementation group, the student health insurance advisory committee, and others; and assisting in the communication with the student health insurance carrier to provide the best service to students. Although not required, if the successful candidate has the appropriate qualification, additional responsibilities may include assisting students with medical and psychological concerns and to work with providers and care teams to address basic and mental health needs, as time permits. This job will be filled as a level 2, or level 3, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Master's degree or higher or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 2. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs.
