Description

The Department of Architectural Engineering (AE) at The Pennsylvania State University is soliciting applicants for a one-year Visiting Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor position in Construction and Construction Management for building design. This appointment begins August 15, 2019. Candidates must have a PhD in Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering or a closely related field in-hand by the time of appointment. Industry work experience is considered a plus. The teaching load is up to six courses for the academic year (2019-2020), including capstone advising assignments for construction option architectural engineering students. Assigned courses may also include teaching freshman seminar course sections in AE. Candidates should provide evidence of experience and excellence in teaching including relevant topic teaching experience.
