The College of Earth and Mineral Sciences of The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar position in Health and Environment to begin on or after August 1, 2019. The position will involve being responsible for developing proposals, implementing research projects, organizing events and conferences, and supporting initiatives on health and environment at the University. A successful candidate should have a strong background in health and environment, with demonstrated abilities to work independently, publish, and organize research projects and events. The position is based in the Department of Geography working under the supervision of Dr. Brian King (https://www.geog.psu.edu/directory/brian-king), and there will be opportunities to collaborate and interact with a broad group of faculty and students through HELIX (http://sites.psu.edu/helixlab/). It is expected that applicants will have completed a Ph.D. in Geography or a related field by the start of the position. Funding is available for two years.
