Responsible for data analysis and reporting support for two units: Cost Analysis and the University Financial Officers. Specific initiatives include audit models and risk analysis, CRIS data integrations, CaseWare continuous monitoring software implementation and management, business process analysis and redesign, and business intelligence development, training, and support. Provide consultation, advice, and recommendations to Assistant Controller, Assoc. Director of FOs and Manager of Cost Analysis and staff regarding data; develop and implement creative and innovative solutions to provide data and information required by both departments. Normal Duties: Yearly Cost Analysis reporting maintenance and execution, cost Analysis audit support-custom report building, monthly GA reports run, parsed, and distributed to FOs, yearly FO reports run for Kim Fisher and Lyn Presto (Carryforward, Supp, FO Metrics), custom reporting for FO org (usually 1-2 per month), technical assistance to both departments with Zoom, Access, iTwo, Excel, etc. website maintenance, CaseWare user administration/training. New analytics development with IA. Extra duties: PCARD support for two reports (need maintenance maybe twice a year), vacation Liability report for Financial Reporting - yearly, iTwo developers meetings monthly, tech Service Retro – every 3 years. Very time intensive (3-4 weeks full time work). More specifically, duties include, but are not limited to: Maintaining and executing reports for cost analysis; building custom reports for audit support for cost analysis; running, parsing, and distributing graduate assistant reports to Financial Officers; running reports for Financial Officers; providing technical assistance to cost analysis and Financial Officers with respect to Zoom, Microsoft Access, iTwo, Excel, etc.; maintaining websites; administering and training users on CaseWare; creating new analytics development with Internal Audit; maintaining purchasing card reports; and running vacation liability report for Financial Reporting; attending iTwo developers meetings. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
