Description

The World Campus and Continuing Education Office of the Registrar is in search of an energetic, flexible and customer-focused person to serve as a Records Specialist, Level 2. As a member of the Registrar’s Office team, the Records Specialist 2 helps to provide front-line service to populations both internal and external to World Campus and Continuing Education and the greater University. This position has a strong emphasis on communication with students, staff, faculty and internal contacts across the University in order to keep accurate student records. The Records Specialist 2 position assists students in enrolling in World Campus course work, as well as providing information and answering questions regarding various enrollment situations and is integral to the development and maintaining of the student’s academic record. The hours for this position will be Monday through Thursday, 11:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. We seek candidates who are able to demonstrate experience and ability to advance Outreach’s diversity initiative. Typically requires a High School diploma or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The ideal candidate should possess a strong work ethic; a dedication to providing excellent customer service to our students as well as our internal customers; strong written and verbal communication skills; sound critical thinking and decision making skills and the willingness to learn and adapt to new and evolving technologies. Experience with current University systems is preferred. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from the date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
