Description

The Energy Science and Power Systems Division of the Applied Research Laboratory is seeking an undergraduate researcher to perform materials characterization on novel powdered materials. The research will include the use of characterization tools such as: laser diffraction, infrared spectroscopy, and bulk powder characterization methods. We are seeking students in Materials Science and Engineering, Engineering Science and Mechanics, or Mechanical Engineering. The successful candidate will work up to 20 hours/week during the fall and spring semesters and 40 hours/week over the summer. Candidate selected may be subject to a government security investigation. You must be a U.S. citizen to apply. Employment with the Applied Research Laboratory will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
