Description

The Electronic Materials and Devices Department of the Applied Research Laboratory is seeking a Graduate Assistant to support various activities related to the synthesis and characterization of graphene and other two-dimensional materials. This position will be responsible for the fabrication and testing of devices/sensors based on these materials. Candidates must be enrolled at Penn State as Graduate Students working towards advanced degrees. Students studying Materials Science, Engineering Science and Mechanics, or Chemistry are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will work up to 20 hours per week. You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation. Employment with the Applied Research Laboratory will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
