The Pennsylvania State University – Abington College invites applications for a full-time, fixed-term faculty position in Criminal Justice beginning in August 2019. Competitive candidates will be prepared to teach in the areas of corrections, criminology, and/or community programs related to criminal justice. Prior college teaching experience is strongly preferred. The course load is a 4x4 and the ability to teach both lower- and upper-division courses is highly desirable. Candidates must possess a commitment to excellence in teaching, advising, and service to the college community. A master’s or doctoral degree in criminal justice or a closely related field or a J.D. is required. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with an excellent possibility of re-funding.
