Postdoctoral research position available in the Child Brain Development Laboratory, directed by Dr. Lisa Gatzke-Kopp. This position is funded by the National Institutes of Health ECHO initiative (https://www.nih.gov/research-training/environmental-influences child-health-outcomes-echo-program), as part of a multisite collaboration between Penn State and the University of North Carolina. We are seeking someone with experience in the collection and analysis of EEG/ERP data to contribute to this study of approximately 1,000 adolescents who have been prospectively followed since the time of their birth [Family Life Project (http://flp.fpg.unc.edu()l. The initial position is guaranteed for 2 years, with the opportunity for renewal for up to an additional 2 years. Given the breadth of data available in this sample, abundant opportunities exist for the qualified candidate to pursue first-authored publications in a variety of possible research domains including mental health, physical health, and cognitive development. Candidates will have opportunities to capitalize on training resources available in quantitative methods (e.g. http://hhd.psu.edu/dsg/, https://methodology.gsu.edu/), participate in grant development, and lead manuscripts.
