Description

The Center for Arts and Crafts at Penn State seeks to hire youth art camp instructors for youth summer art camps during weekly day camp sessions occurring June 17 to July 26, 2019. Applicants must be currently enrolled university students, preferably in the College of Arts and Architecture or Education- Penn State students may receive priority. Instructors are responsible for assisting with creating and implementing art lessons and projects, managing supplies, and for the supervision of minors participating in this camp. Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills required. Must have interest in working with children, have strong customer service skills, and be a self-starter. To be considered for this position, you must submit a resume including your experience in art and any instructing experience, and cover letter stating the types of art camp topics that you are interested in instructing.
