Description

Penn State IT has 3 openings for creative, clear-thinking and highly organized individuals to help support the planning and implementation of the Talent Strategy related to the Reimaging IT (RIT) initiative. These individuals will work together with the HR Strategic Partner to develop, create, implement and support the overall Talent Strategy. Decisions and recommendations made by this team will have a significant impact of the strategic direction, measurement and documentation or organizational achievement, and the development of improvement initiatives related to employee experience. Though the team will work towards the same goal, each will have a focus: Develop approach and methodology for all projects and projects teams related to the Talent Strategy, prepare time lines, engagement strategies, critical dependencies and provide assistance with data analysis, metric reporting, dashboard development and process improvements. In partnership with Compensation and Classification, overall responsibility for facilitating the IT job profile redesign project, assist with the job description creation process and teams, help in developing future state organizational charts and process. In partnership with current IT OCM and Communications team, develop communication and change management strategy, plan and artifacts related to HR, identify stakeholders and audiences, provide data analysis, metric reporting, dashboard development and process improvements. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
